Osteopathy is a manual, holistic, integral therapy, and a set of specific knowledge based on the anatomy and physiology of the human body that takes the body as a whole and how the different tissues intervene in the production of the disease. It is based on the belief that all the systems of the body are related and therefore the disorders in one system affect the functioning of the others.
Osteopathy aims to: balance the different systems of the human body, normalize the fluids and the various structures (joints, muscles, organs …) of the body and mind, establishing the disturbed balance through manual techniques aimed at improving the structure and function either to the musculoskeletal system, visceral, cranial, nervous … all based on the totality of the body. For osteopathy, the organism of man is a global unit in which all its parts are related whose purpose is to harmonize to the individual
For this reason we work on the bone, muscle, visceral and aponeurosis, hence we can divide it into: structural, visceral and cranial, which also takes into account the psychic, emotional, physical and spiritual integrity.
