“Disease is the effort that nature makes to heal man” C.G. Yung

Osteopathy is a manual, holistic, integral therapy, and a set of specific knowledge based on the anatomy and physiology of the human body that takes the body as a whole and how the different tissues intervene in the production of the disease. It is based on the belief that all the systems of the body are related and therefore the disorders in one system affect the functioning of the others.

Osteopathy aims to: balance the different systems of the human body, normalize the fluids and the various structures (joints, muscles, organs …) of the body and mind, establishing the disturbed balance through manual techniques aimed at improving the structure and function either to the musculoskeletal system, visceral, cranial, nervous … all based on the totality of the body. For osteopathy, the organism of man is a global unit in which all its parts are related whose purpose is to harmonize to the individual
For this reason we work on the bone, muscle, visceral and aponeurosis, hence we can divide it into: structural, visceral and cranial, which also takes into account the psychic, emotional, physical and spiritual integrity.

Indicated in:

  • Vertebral pain
  • Headaches, dizziness, dizziness, migraines,
  • Pain in upper and lower limbs.
  • Problems in temporo-mandibular joint ATM (clicks, bad
occlusion, bruxism …) Visceral imbalances: gastritis, intestinal discomfort, digestive,
  • Menstrual disorders.
  • Eye problems, tinnitus, sinusitis …

Cranio-Sacral Therapy works with a slight contact to perceive the accessory vascular wave (OVA) which is a movement of the orthosympathetic neurovegetative system, also called by Dr. Upledger pulsations of the Cranio-Sacral system, transmitted to the whole body through of the Fascial System, Like every organ, every muscle, every glass etc. is involved by this Fascia, a restriction in it can alter the structure of the body and affect its function.
The therapist’s job is to help the patient re-establish the normal flow of movement by attenuating or eliminating those resistances.
The Cranio-Sacral System has the vital function of maintaining the environment in which the Central Nervous System works.

From this technique emerges what is called the Somato-Emotional Liberation, which falls within what we call global treatment, since the emotions inhibited in our lives, usually by the non-action to which they were destined by different causes they remain “written” in our tissues, giving chronic lesions (memory of injury).
In response to different traumas: educational, relationship or physical life, the different tissues of the body contract due to our maladaptive behaviors and that contraction is contained in the body, limiting its proper functioning, creating problems that can last for years.
